I'm always on the lookout for small multi-use survival kit items, and with 4 batteries this should be a bright light, but these are complete junk. The compass is nonfunctional. The lights are nonfunctional. I ended up just gutting it and using the flashlight part as a pill/matches compartment. So basically you're getting a whistle with a small storage compartment. These should be sold for $1.99 and any company that sells these should be ashamed of themselves. There's like a little disc in a bubble w the directions on it. If you move, the disc gets stuck. You could shake it to loosen it up and see if it rights itself... Or you could buy a better compass-whistle-LED. It's pretty to look at though... |
