Batteries included was a real plus. I bought several packs and was very pleasantly surprised that every single light worked right out of the package. Oddly, some of flashlights had a small paper tag under the cap that had to be removed before using, some didn't. I've gotten similar style 6 led flashlights with metal cases and found many of those are broken right at the store. These 100% worked!The only trick I found is the threading is a little tricky and you have to screw it on just right or the light might not work. They do make as much light or more as a old style two D battery flashlight, but small and light enough to put in your pocket The rubberized case makes for a nice grip.
