Whether it stays at 2 bucks a piece is another matter. One of these went through an entire laundry cycle with the battery in it and came out working. There is no permanent on setting which I like because the models with the click switch or slide switch often turn on in your pocket and your battery just runs out. This little flashlight doesn't put out a lot of light, but I find it sufficient for most tasks a light this small would be used for. But it's extraordinarily difficult to turn on. It's poorly designed. The battery has a small, stiff wire that floats above it. The rubber, flexible button is pressed, which should bend the wire into contact with the battery. Unfortunately, the rubber button is too flexible and the wire is not securely mounted. There have been times where I've had to press and press again to find the right position to get the electrical contact made. Bottom line, your hand should not hurt from straining to turn on a keychain flash light.I do not recommend this product. There are much better lights out there. |
