(NOTE: Anything above 50 lumens within a 10 yard distance may cause temporary blindness when viewed directly.) This Nebotools Flashlight has 5 lighting modes:100% white light (220 lumens),50% white light (110 lumens),10% white light (22 lumens),S.O.S. mode (220 lumens), emergency strobe mode (220 lumens).This flashlight has a 4x adjustable beam that works with any light setting to change the REDLINE® from a flood light to illuminate everything within a 20 yard distance, or to a spot light to focus up to 150 yards. The bezel of the REDLINE® controls the adjustable beam. The red ring of the NEBO REDLINE® enhances all of the features of this flashlight.

First, the #5610, & #5557 are the same lamp except body color, (BLACK v/s SILVER). I did a fair amount of REAL research before purchasing this light. So, there were no real suprises. The light is EXTREMELY well made, puts out alot of light (220 lm on high), and throws a good beam, has med. & low settings as well as S.O.S, & strobe, Easy to hold, battery life (even on high) is good, (approx 4 hrs.) "Strike" bezel & magnetic base are also nice features. Easy to hold & doesn't take up alot of room in your pocket. For it's suggested MSRP of $34.99, (paid $25.00), it is a GREAT light and will give many years of service. There are DOZENS of brands, & HUNDREDS of models, This light WILL adequeatley serve the general public well and inexpensively. If you are a law enforcement officer, military, etc., and need a TRUE TACTICAL light, you will need to spend at least 2 to 3 times as much. Bought this flashlight for work to replace my old handy light. The light was excellent as were all the settings listed in the item desription. Unfortunately it has a big design flaw. The "red line" area is plastic while the rest of the outer shell is metal. I was using it while working on my motorcycle and it rolled off the seat and fell on the concrete floor where the plastic line shattered and split. It is now unusable as the lens was only attached by this plastic gimmic. If you decide to buy this light be sure to wrap the plastic in duct tape or something similair to help take the impact in case it gets dropped. The rest of the flashlight appears to be of excellent quality. I hope that Nebo will look at this "red line" gimmic, remove it, and find another way to stand out.

If you buy or already own this excellent flashlight, you should consider replacing the glowing plastic "redline" ring with an upgraded aluminum ring, which is sometimes available on a popular auction site.
